— Oncology Massage —
Adapted Massage for someone who has had or is receiving Cancer Care.
The therapeutic techniques will –
- enhance relaxation assisting in side affects & symptoms of cancer treatment
- relief of anxiety & stress
- aid in relaxation & sleep issues
- help alleviate pain & discomfort.
The treatment may be a combined choice of therapeutic Massage, manual lymphatic drainage, Indian head or Thai foot Massage. This can be discussed at the beginning of the appointment.
Our Therapists have completed advanced training (L4 – Degree level) in the fundamentals of complementary therapies in cancer care. This has allowed complementary therapies to be performed, practised & adapted in a safe environment with the knowledge that you are receiving the best care at a time needed the most. It enables you to have confidence that you are receiving treatment which is insured and is ensuring safe practice for client & therapist.
