Hi! I’m Catrin Heath, Floral Director at Stella Blooms.

My most frequently asked question – who is Stella?  She’s one of the reasons I set up my little flower shed.

She was my Gran, an auburn hair Geordie, loved all things flora and fauna and was passionate about nature, outdoors and sustainability (way ahead of her time.)

I started my flower journey in the depths of lockdown 2020.  I need to do something creative, tried baking (lots of burnt banana bread) started to play the piano (still learning) and fell head first very happily into online floristry courses.

Fast forward and with lots of hard work, Stella Blooms was established and my days are spent in The Shed at Bronleigh House in Neath.

I’m passionate about floriography (story telling through flowers revived by The Victorians), spending time with clients for weddings and farewells to ensure we nail the brief and developing my flower artistry.

Other bits you might not know but here for the info!  I’m married, have two lovely children (my mini bloomers) have two bouncy sproker spaniels.

I love Spin sessions, fossils and dinosaurs, reading (yes I am in a book club) tattoos and being anywhere sunny.
